cmd key คือ command ของ windows ที่ใช้ในการช่วยเก็บ password ของ host ที่จะ remote เข้าไป ทำให้ไม่ต้องกรอก password ซ้ำไปซ้ำมา

ข้อจำกัดของ cmdkey

1. password ของ host อาจจะหลุดถ้าเครื่อง windows นั้นถูก hack หรือตัว password ที่ cmdkey เก็บใน memory ถูกแกะออกมา
2. cmdkey มักใช้ได้กับ host/service ที่เป็น windows ด้วยกัน
3. การเก็บ password จะไม่ได้ sync กับ host ปลายทาง ถ้า host ปลายทางเปลี่ยน password ก็จะทำให้ cmdkey พยายามใช้ password เก่า และเข้า host ไม่ได้
